 FBI arrests notorious yahoo boy ‘Bobo Chicago’ for alleged $2.8M fr@ud  The U.S. FBI last week arrested 25-year-old Oluyomi Omobolanle Bombata, popularly known as ‘Bobo Chicago’ or ‘Bola Flexx,’ for allegedly sc+mming companies and individuals of up to $2.8 million. Bobo Chicago, famed for his extravagant lifestyle, was apprehended on November 20 in Illinois, Chicago, following an arrest warrant issued in Oklahoma.  People Gazette reports that investigations linked him to multiple criminal complaints, leading to a five-count charge, including wire fraud, conspiracy, money laundering, and unlawful monetary transactions committed between June and October 2023. Before relocating to Chicago, he reportedly terr%rised Nigerians living in the Houston metro area. Residents of Edo state have something to rejoice and shout about following the approval of free transportation in the state Governor Monday Okpebholo has announced that the Edo City Transport Service will offer free transportation to residents across the state The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Fred Itua, said the free bus service will cover Benin metropolis and the three Senatorial He made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday, November 26, adding that the free bus ride was part of the Okpebholo administration’s plan to entrench his policy According to the statement, the free transportation scheme will cover Ekpoma, Iruekpen, Irrua, Uromi, and other places in Edo Central. The free transportation services will also cover Agbede, Auchi, Okpella, Fugar, and other parts of Edo North.

 Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-corruption Agency has sealed a warehouse where 16,600 bags of rice worth over N1 billion meant for the federal government palliative, are being repackaged for sale.  The rice palliative, suspected to have been released during last year's ‘Ramadan Kareen’ and tagged ‘Not for Sale,’ carries the picture of President Bola Tinubu. The facility which is located on Ring Road in Nasarawa Local Government Area was sealed during an operation led by the Executive Chairman of the agency, Muhuyi Rimin-Gado on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Speaking to newsmen shortly after conducting the operation, Rimin-Gado said the warehouse was stockpiled with 28 trucks of the rice allegedly diverted by some individuals found re-bagging the commodity. He said the rice was re-bagged into different brands meant to be circulated and sold in different markets in the state. Students will be able to choose one out of the 15 Skills and obtain both theoritical and practical knowledge of it before promotion to another class.  The Student will choose a particular skill out of the 15 and have the knowledge from Primary 1 to J SS 3 (9 years) starting from 2025 academic year.  Today, I presented the 2025 budget proposal titled Budget of Exponential Growth and Inclusive Prosperity to the Enugu State House of Assembly. This N971 billion budget represents our commitment to transforming Enugu into one of the top three states in Nigeria by GDP while eradicating poverty in our communities. It is a bold and deliberate step towards achieving exponenti al growth and inclusive prosperity for Ndi Enugu. The proposed budget is structured to prioritise capital expenditure at N837.9 billion, constituting 86% of the total budget, while recurrent expenditure stands at N133.1 billion, representing only 14%. This marks an 86.4% increase from the 2024 budget and underscores our determination to sustain and amplify our development agenda. Education remains at the forefront of our priorities, as it forms the bedrock of a knowledge-based economy and a tool to eradicate poverty.  Sanwo-Olu suspends media aide Ajetunmobi over misrepresentation of facts. Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has suspended his Senior Special Assistant on Print Media, Wale Ajetunmobi over a tweet he made. Ajetunmobi took to X days ago to claim that some arsonists who torched the Television Continental (TVC) head office in Lagos during the #EndSARS protest in 2020 were “hunted and executed.” Recall that there were allegations of extra-judicial killings during the protest. The Lagos State Judicial Panel on #EndSARS and police brutality had indicted Sanwo-Olu in the brutal intervention of the Nigerian Army at Lekki Toll Gate on October 20. However, the state government rejected the report indicating Sanwo-Olu and the Nigerian Army.  So unfortunately, while we continue to make sincere efforts to meet the needs of our people, some are bent on sabotaging the system and our desires to give our people the best.  Earlier today, on our way to inspect projects, I instinctively asked my convoy to reverse into the State Ministry of Health when I saw a vehicle loading up some materials.  I was stunned to see that the vehicle was loading up for sale, materials meant for our primary health care centres and general hospitals in the State. - #FON
