Three arrested with over N129 billion counterfeit currencies in Kano. The Kano State Police Command has arrested three persons for allegedly being in possession of counterfeit currencies amounting to N129,542,826,000. Addressing newsmen at a press briefing on Tuesday, December 10, the command’s spokesperson, SP Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed that the suspects were arrested on December 1 based on credible information received from a Good Samaritan. “Following credible information received from a good Samaritan on the activities of a notorious fraudster around Gwale LGA, Kano State, one Ahmad Abdullahi, ‘m’, 30 years old of Kaga LGA, Borno State.
